We accept rolling submissions of poetry, creative nonfiction, art (visual, photography, drawing) & fiction. You can submit up to 5 pieces of your genre at a time.

All submissions should be sent to afsubmissions@gmail.com

Please include a simple and short cover letter in the body of the email and attach the actual submission on a word doc, pdf, jpg, etc. For example please see below:

“Dear Amber Forest Magazine Editors,

Please consider my submission of the nonfiction story “Your Story Name here” for publication.

I am currently a senior Creative Writing major working on my poetry thesis and writing nonfiction while at Your University Name (if you’re in college). My nonfiction has appeared in my school’s literary journal, School Journal, and I am now starting to send my work out. Thank you for your time.
